After Peter and MJ meet for a plate of fries Stan Lee quips that the two were always his favorite. The Stan Lee cameo comes early in the story right after players are introduced to Mary Jane Watson, Peter Parker’s ex-girlfriend in the game. Marvel’s Spider-Man features not only the Avengers Tower but it also features suits from the newest Avengers movie and even a cameo from Stan Lee. Warning: Early story spoilers may follow for Spider-Man. Marvel could finally pay off all its Roxxon references in Phase 4 by making Dario Agger the villain of Thor 4.Although Spider-Man only very recently entered the Marvel Cinematic Universe that hasn’t stopped the newest Spider-Man adventure from including the Avengers Tower. Plus, the company has been name-dropped in a number of Marvel movies. They’ve been utilized as antagonists in shows like Agent Cater and Cloak & Dagger. Marvel may have been building toward Roxxon being an enemy of the MCU’s heroes for a long time now. It could be that if and when Thor (Chris Hemsworth) returns to Earth and meets Dario Agger, he’ll find out that his company is now based out of the building that was once the Avengers’ base of operations. His history with both characters has made him a contender for Thor: Love and Thunder’s villain. Dario Agger, who has the ability to transform into a legendary Minotaur, is a key Thor villain who has gone up against both the God of Thunder himself and the Jane Foster version of Thor. One theory postulates that the Avengers Tower buyer is Dario Agger, the CEO of Roxxon, one of the most powerful corporations in both the comics and the movies. But if Peter Parker (Tom Holland) has his hands full with interdimensional foes in the upcoming movie, Osborn’s MCU debut could be saved for a villainous role in Avengers 5. If the buyer is Osborn, his arrival in the MCU could be confirmed in Spider-Man 3. It’s also been suggested that Osborn may have bought some of the salvaged alien technology that Vulture (Michael Keaton) acquired prior to Spider-Man: Homecoming. It’s not hard to imagine someone like Norman Osborn having designs on Hank Pym’s Pym Particles. Sonny Burch (Walton Goggins) in Ant-Man and the Wasp wanted to buy Hank Pym’s shrinking tech on behalf of an unnamed character. There was another event aside from the purchase of Avengers Tower that has been counted as a sign that Norman Osborn is coming. With his wealth and power, Osborn has evolved into a villain of the Marvel Universe as a whole, having been in conflict with various teams of Avengers, Asgard, and more. Though as the Green Goblin, he has a reputation as Spider-Man’s greatest enemy, he’s so much more than that. So far, there’s no proof that he even exists in the MCU, but given how important he is in the comic books, there’s a widely-held opinion that it’s only a matter of time before he appears. Norman Osborn, one of the richest and most nefarious characters in Marvel Comics, could have purchased Avengers Tower to be a place of business for his company, Oscorp. Here’s every theory on who bought Avengers Tower from Iron Man. Either way, it may be that a future film or Disney+ series will officially unveil this character and reveal what his or her intentions are. With their wealth, they could use it to do good in the MCU, or they could become a dangerous new adversary for the heroes. It’s likely that the buyer, whoever they may be, is a well-respected figure who holds a considerable amount of power in the MCU. Many have theorized that the person who bought the building from Stark is a Marvel Comics character that the MCU movies haven’t introduced yet. Or, the reveal that Avengers Tower was sold could be important in some way to Marvel’s future. It could be that the identity of its new owner is irrelevant and that this matter may never be brought up again. One thing that was never said in Spider-Man: Homecoming, or in any other MCU movie, is who bought Avengers Tower from Tony Stark.
